East & West International Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd. Company is a trustworthy and registered Company under the laws of Nepal Tourism Industry and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions.

All bookings are made with East & West International Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as The Company) whose registered office is the Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal.

PAYMENT


1. Online Payment

Our clients will be able to make the payment for each listed trip via the major credit card online. Our merchant will receive the payment within 2 working days. Once the payment has been made, it is our responsibility to operate the trip. However, company will not be liable for client’s health issue and unforeseen events.

2. Payment Due

Rest of the payment should clear on arrival day (this will apply for most of Nepal treks, tours, expeditions). However, we can request you to make full payment before your arrival if this is necessary (especially for Trips in Tibet, Bhutan and India). Be mindful, we also reserve the right to cancel your trip provided full amount is not paid in requested time or on arrival day.

3. Payment for Group

On trip booking for groups, there will be some discounted rate available which will be finalized after consideration of the trip and group size. So we suggest you to transfer the USD dollar amount to our beneficiary bank.

TERMS OF BOOKING


The trips described in this Website are operated by East & West International Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. The following booking conditions apply to all the trips.

1. Pre-Booking:

We prefer to have the booking confirmed in advance, prior to Nepal arrival. Pre-booking is kept on high priority and it gives us enough time to make all the necessary arrangements for the trip.

2. Required Documents for Booking

A. Passport

It is the responsibility of all passengers, regardless of nationality and destination, to check with the consulate of the country they are visiting for current entry requirements.

B. Visa

As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, we recommend that you verify health and visa requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure.

C. Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive Travel Insurance Policy prior to departure. If you cancel your trip or significantly alter travel dates, many policies will reimburse the cost of cancellation fees and related expenses.

3. Assumption of Risk

A. Health Issue and Hazards

The traveler should understand that during the course of the trip, certain risks and dangers may occur, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, and the forces of nature. The traveller/trekker agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey, and agrees that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of traveller/trekker, or for any loss or damage to the property of the traveller/trekker during the course of the trip, howsoever caused.

B. Acceptance of Risk

The traveler should understand the risk on the adventure trips and you accept the risk on your own

4. Cancellation Policy

A. Cancellation of trip: 30% of total trip cost will be deducted for refund procedure

B. Refund Procedure: Will be as per bank rule and government rule

5. Change in Booking Schedule

If you need to change or amend the booking you already have with us, we will be happy to do so for you without any extra charges, in the case of the change the date of the flight and the hotels will cost you extra cancellation charge as per their rules and if we have spend the money for the making permits and the organized your trip that cost will be deducted.

6. Authority of our Leader

Our tour leader reserve the right to refuse to continue to carry any passenger(s) causing inconvenience or annoyance to other travelers/trekkers, or creating difficulties that would hamper the smooth running of a trip. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or personal possessions, or any consequential losses resulting there from. If a traveller/trekker is injured or becomes ill, all evacuation and hospital expenses, doctors’ fees and repatriation costs are the traveller/trekker’s responsibility, and Nepal Social Treks shall not be liable for any refund of the tour fare.

7. Health and Age Limit

Good health and physical fitness is required on all trips like as tour, travel, holidays, trekking, peak climbing and expedition. We recommend a physical examination for all trekkers on extended treks.

8. Privacy and Publicity

Our company might use the clients photo and the videos to our advertisement, unless you have mention us not to do so, we always keep the personal privacy.

9. Emergency Rescue Evacuation

The helicopter cost is US $1825.00 to $2500.00 per hour. It all depends upon the rescue location & flying hours. Normally it takes 3 to 4 hours of flying hours but, again, it entirely depends upon the location and the weather at the time of rescue. So, all the clients need to have their medical & rescue insurance before arriving here. We can arrange the rescue operation and expect all the cost to be settled after the rescue here in Kathmandu. We can arrange all the necessary documents as a support for submitting to the client’s Insurance Company.

10. Unforeseen Events

If the domestic flight is cancelled or delayed due to poor weather condition or technical reason then we cannot take responsibility, however, we will be at our best to the any alternation. If the tour is cut short or breaks in between due to natural disaster then the cost is not refundable once paid.
 

VEHICLE BOOKING TERMS

Notice:
1. If the disposal vehicle is used, cost of half-day will be charged (Disposal will be with in Ring Road).

2. 50% Extra will be charged after 8:00pm as night charge for Arriva/Departure and disposal.

3. If A/C is used in car then 20% extra will be charged.

4. If A/C is used in Haice/Jeep 10% extra will be charged.

5. If A/C is used in van 15% extra will be charged

6. Per 1 KM to 99km RS 20 is fixed of cars rate.

7. Per 100 km to more than 100 km Rs 19 is fixed of cars rate.

8.For gulby, gravel, hilly road 25 % extra will be charged

9. For day return vehicle should be entered Kathmandu Valley with in 8 pm, if there will be late O/N will be charged

10. Day return Means to drop up or return in the same day. If the vehicle /person did not returned the O/N charge will be charged in above mentioned rate.

11. Above mentioned Kilometre /Rate is fixed for two way.

12.If the vehicle is not working properly then we will have to provide another vehicle as soon as possible.

13.For Gokarna Resort /Park Village/Godawari resort arrival/departure.

14. On above mentioned rate any kind of taxes is not included.

15.If the amount of petrol or diesel will be increased Rs 5 then rate list will be refixed.

16. Car=1 rate of car, van=1.75 rate of car, Hiace/Jeep=2 rate of car, Mini bus= 2.5 rate of car, coaster=3 rate of car, Sutlej Bus= 3.5 rate of car

17.If the booked trip is cancelled the25% will be charged as a cancel charge.
