Start and End point  - Pokhara

Annapurna Base Camp is a high-altitude glacier Basin located at north of Pokhara. Annapurna Base Camp is a famous magical amphitheater, also known as "sanctuary" because of its natural serenity, beauty and the divine presence of Hindu goddesses Annapurna and Gangapurna.

This 7 days trek to Annapurna Base Camp can be extended as per client's requirement.

 

Detail Itinerary - Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Day 1

Drive to Nayapul - Trek to Ghandruk

Driving time: 1 and half hour

Trekking time: 5 hours

On the first day, after breakfast we will be driving to Nayalpul i.e. the starting point. It is a one and a half hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul(1050m). From Nayapul the uphill trail to Ghandruk (1940m) is filled with panoramic views of snowcapped mountains. As we move further we will pass through various small villages such as Chimrong, Syauli Bazar, and Chame. Upon crossing the suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we will be reach Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung community.

Highlights: Enjoy the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiuchuli mountains and also get acquaint with the simple and rich culture and tradition of the Gurung community at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.

Day 2

Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa

Trekking Time: 5 hours

Early in the morning at this juncture, we will climb up to Ghandruk-kot for an hour then a steep descent will take us to the Kimron Khola. The walk after a steep ascent from Kimron Khola is easy. As we continue climbing up to Sinuwa (2360m), we will encounter the mighty peak  Annapurna South above the village and the Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhare) facing the valley.

Day 3

Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali

Trekking Time: 7 hours

We walk through the pretty forest to Kuldi Ghar, before the route goes steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through riverside bamboo thickets along the base of the gorge. Then the track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest.

Day 4

Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base camp

Trekking Time: 4 hours

The track remains on the West Bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley, and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary.

Straight-ahead is the high lateral moraine of the South Annapurna glacier and the Modi follows a deep cliff to the right. This is the site of Annapurna Base camp (4230m) from which can be seen a spectacular panorama of mountains.

Day 5

Trek from Annapurna Base camp to Dobhan

Trekking Time: 3 hours

Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of the 360 degrees. Upon arrival at this panoramic view site, we savor the mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks. Climax of our trip almost ends today then you will trek back from Annapurna Base Camp to Dobhan (2600 m)which is most easy descending route.

Day 6

Trek from Dobhan to Jhinu

Trekking Time: 5 hours

From Dobhan, we continue to Chhomrong from where the trail descends through forests to Modi Khola and then the trail ascends to Jhinu. After reaching Jhinu we will hike for 45 mins to modi khola where we drop by hot spring.

Day 7

Trek from Jhinu to Kimche - Drive back to Pokhara

Trekking Time: 3 hours

Driving Time: 2 hours

After breakfast, we will leave the village and walk down to Kimche. From Kimche we drive back to Pokhara which takes about 21/2 hours and transfer to Hotel.
